RDN RETURNS

Mrs. Sally Nolasco, who was PPMA president from 1999 to 2003, now takes again the reins of the association to lead the group to another round of sterling performance. PPMA has served the general membership through technical seminars, informative plant visits abroad, updates and echo seminars on the ASEAN harmonized regulatory guidelines and so on. Just recently on May 25-29, 2009, the Philippines hosted the successful16th ACCSQ-PPWG Meeting at Dusit Hotel with the collaboration of BFAD and the pharmaceutical industry. In particular, PPMA handled the registration and finance work.

Prior to this, the association held the first GMM last April 15th, 2009 at the same hotel during which the new set of officers were inducted by the prominent guest speaker, Dr. Kenneth Hartigan Go.

On June 30th, the PPMA officers and trustees made a courtesy call to the newly designated BFAD director, Ms. Nancy T. Tacandong who assured the association of her openness to help the pharmaceutical industry.

This month of July, the PPMA-BFAD collaboration seminar on Facilities and Equipment will be held at the BFAD AVR on the 21st to the 22nd.
